Cold-peel DTF film VS Hot-peel DTF Film

DTF film is one of the most important consumables in Direct to Film printing process, T-shirt printing cannot be done without transferring the print patterns onto the clothes, (so the DTF Film is called DTF Transfer Film as well), Hot Peel Film and Cold Peel Film are 2 types of DTF Film used for the transferring.

The key differences between Hot Peel Film and Cold Peel Film are: Hot Peel Film is more efficient, for large patterns with lower press temperature (140℃-150℃) while Cold Peel Film can be applied to more types of fabrics with longer-term water washing fastness at lower cost.

Cold-peel DTF Film---The main component of cold-peel DTF film is silicon. Silicone is easier to melt and apply to the film than hot-peel DTF film. This is why the cold-peel DTF film is more stable than the hot-peel DTF film on the market.

Hot-peel DTF film---To achieve a quick tear, the main component of the release layer is wax, which is relatively unstable and does not melt and apply easily.

The pressing temperature of cold peel DTF film is longer than that of hot peel film, usually 150-170℃ for 10-20 seconds, after pressing, it takes about 30 seconds cooling time before tearing off. The adhesive layer of the cold peel film adopts oil-based back coating method and has good washing fastness.

• Three coating layers: Single-sided matte glossy DTF film, 3 layers coating process for better ink absorption for fuller prints, allowing for brilliant color-rich transfers. 
• Easy to peel off: The film surface is dry and can be easily cold-peeled.
• Works with Most Fabrics: Works with all material fabrics: including cotton, jeans, leather, blends, spandex, nylon, canvas, polyester, etc.
• Good elasticity: The pattern after being heat transferred has a texture like PU glue, strong elasticity and no deformation when stretched, and the hand feels softer than screen printing.

Section 1 - Limited Warranty:

Sublistar provides a 24-month warranty for printing machines including DTF, UV, DTG, Sublimation, Heat Press Machine and the components except consumables such as powder, ink, etc. Our technicians can be issued a replacement on some parts that will be covered in the limited warranty. Technicians can assist by chat or video chat to help replace a part and troubleshoot during this time. Once the limited warranty ends, the customers are responsible for any parts costs and troubleshooting. Customers may self-install parts or use their technicians, but Sublistar is not responsible for damages caused during self-repair.

Section 2 - What is covered

1. DTF Series Printers:

Warranty Period: 24 months from the date of purchase.
Covered Components: Mainboard, Headboard, and Powerboard.

2. Shaker:

Warranty Period: 24 months from the date of purchase.
Covered Components: Main Control Board, SCR Board, PLC Color Screen.

3. Printer Printheads (used with Sublistar Ink):

Warranty Period: 3-6 months,depending on the specific product.

Warranty Terms and Conditions:

• Warranty Coverage: Warranty applies to defects caused by non-human factors during normal use.
• Warranty Service: Return the product for inspection. If eligible, a new replacement will be sent.
• Return and Replacement: Customer is responsible for return shipping. New product will be shipped upon verification.
• Exclusions: Warranty does not cover improper handling, unauthorized modifications, accidents, or force majeure.
• Warranty Void: Warranty expires, tampered product, or damage due to misuse voids warranty.

Section 3 - What is not covered

The consumables such as powder, ink, paper, film etc. are not covered by warranty.

1. If you have any questions after the receipt of our Sublistar products, please feel free to contact us via any online means and we would be delighted to offer you kind service within the warranty period.
2. The equipments that are covered by warranty can be repaired or replaced within the warranty period if they are not artificially damaged.
3. If you find the equipment problems and handle them by yourself after the receipt of our products or require for any repair or replacement after the warranty period, Sublistar would not bear any responsibilities.
